She closed her eyes and in ten seconds flat
She was daydreaming as usual
The Goofy clock on her night table
read six-thirty-seven, she opened her
eyes, "I'm late" she said "bye, dad". She
slammed the front door
She stood on the sidewalk and stuck out her
thumb.

A trucker stopped, he seemed friendly enough
But he went on asking questions
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
He leered at one point "Look, I'm on acid,
so leave me alone, all right?"
That shut him up
She hallucinated in peace.

Something fantastic is going to happen , I don't think it's up to me
She kept confusing the windows and paintings
"It's about time" she thought.
