Neck Beard Pi's Pirate Pilgramage Lyrics

Verse 1: Young Pi was casted out to sea
Upon his boat a tiger be

Hyena, orang-utan, zebra too
Chose not to drown in the ocean blue

One by one the animals perished
'Twas Richard Parker Pi truly cherished

Plan number seven kept Parker alive
Unlikely companions with will to survive... together they stride!

Chorus: Yo ho a tale of the seven seas
The legend of Pi's great misery
No hope on the horizon his eyes could see
His reason had left him undoubtedly

Verse 2: Last morsel of food long gone from the boat
Nor was there water to settle their throats

He accepted his fate, knew he would die
Here now would end the life of Pi

Yet truth be told there be more to this tale
The storm inside would not tear his sail

French blood was spilled by Pi's first mate
Alas the Frenchman would become bait

Chorus: (trumpet solo)

Verse 3: Pi's faith replenished, his reason returned
To set foot on land, that is what he yearned

Behold The Island, his chest full of treasure
To sleep in a tree, one of life's greatest pleasures!

But the treasure was cursed, the fruit would reveal
Secrets of The Island no longer concealed

That land should have been his resting place
But the sea now continues to change his face...
