I wake up in the afternoon.
I take a look out of my window.
It's all the same.
I take a walk into the town.
I sit and watch the passing people.
They're all the same.

And what ever I do it's in this old town.
And wherever I go I turn around.

Everybody talks about the same old stupid things to everyone.
Every night I dream the same old dreams.
I wanna spend my days in the sun,
to broaden horizens.
There's a world outside this place. and even though it's ok.
I can't wait to break away.

Too many people round this way,
they let the chance slip through their fingers.
They're all the same.
There's nothing wrong with where we live.
It's just the gleaming in the distance.
It's not the same.

I just need to end this routine.
Take a break from the mundane.
And I won't be gone for ever,
I'll be back again someday.
