My soul is not at peace
I'm searching for something I've yet to find
A sense of purpose,
a light in the dark

wipe this restlessness from my core

I'm lifting wool to find clarity in which to trust
I've miles to go before I lay
In repose in the foothills
Of an unclimeable mountain so high
Even the stars find themselves looking up
At this colossal wonder that has urged man
From the beginning of time, to dream,
To gaze into the ever after and ask questions
That probably have no answers, but exist
Solely to balance the universe with their
Humbling utterances
And so we/I shall exist on
And dream of voices cascading over sullied precipices
And rocky faces, speaking to our inner lost children
Upholding the precious perception of hope
Not only to lift us from nothingness, but also
To guide our treacherous passage, through the
Hills and valleys, days and nights, lies and truths
That obscure a clear-cut path,
Of which there are but one
That carry our burdens...and blessings
To their rightful terminus.
It is here that we find

That there is nothing to find.
