The year is 2020 and this hotel has just been finished, a s___e hotel in orbit, some 450 km above the surface of the earth...
The dream is to build a s___e hotel where hundreds of guests could float around in a giant wheel above the earth. They would enjoy all the luxuries of any top class hotel, but with a view of the earth that would take some beating!
The 'Mayflower' is a serious attempt to get tourists into s___e. The passengers would experience weightlessness and view the planet from outside the atmosphere. Building hasn't started yet, but they're taking bookings.
So, unless you have fifty thousand dollars to spare, s___e travel isn't really an option and the idea of a s___e hotel is still only a dream. But don't worry - it may become a reality - for the next generation of tourists... not ours.
